We request information from the user on our order form or on the Subscription Agreement entered into between Salesnet and the customer. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and billing address) and financial information (like credit card number and expiration date). Non-personally identifying information about our visitors is tracked in our log files. We use this information to analyze trends and administer the site. The following information is gathered in the log files: IP address, referring URL, time zone, browser type, operating system, files accessed, and errors generated. All this information is gathered and used only by Salesnet to help us analyze usage and trends to improve our application.

This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, the information is protected both online and offline.

All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers that are used to store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
We send all new users a welcome email to verify their Company Login, User Login, and User Password. Established users will occasionally receive information on products, services, and special deals. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present them with the option to receive these types of communications.
Site and Service Updates
We also send each user both site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to unsubscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with each user to provide requested services and regarding issues relating to their account via email or phone.
Correcting/Updating Personal Information
If a user’s personally identifiable information changes, or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update, or remove that user’s personal data provided to us. This can usually be done in the user’s profile or by contacting Salesnet customer Support Services.
Our users are given the opportunity to opt in to having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, our registration form has an opt-in mechanism so users who sign up to use our service and want to receive marketing material can add their email address to our lists.
Users who no longer wish to receive promotional materials from Salesnet may opt out of receiving these communications by following the unsubscribe directions in the footer of the communication.
Notification of Changes
Salesnet has co-branded relationships with other Web sites. This means you may have linked to the Salesnet application through another site. The logo of that other site may be displayed on the Salesnet pages indicating a co-branded relationship exists. In these cases, the site that you have come from may choose to pass information about you to Salesnet. In these cases, we will pass this information back to the partner. This exchange of information is for tracking and revenue sharing purposes between Salesnet and the partner. In a co-branded relationship you are tagged as a customer of the partner site and Salesnet will provide only statistical information relating to the number of customers who have signed up for service through the co-branded relationship.
