The College Media Donation Program
The College Media Donation Program is based on a simple idea: expose college students to the Sales industry and help them develop their sales skills.
By giving them the tools they need to not only build their media organization but also increase their knowledge of all thing sales, we at Salesnet feel that we are giving back to our community by using the resources that we already possess.
"Being able to sell a product and to organize your sales process, is a skill that can be valuable in any industry. We are giving these students something that they can put on their resumes and use when they find a job after college" - Katie Farmer, Public Relations Manager at Salesnet.
Salesnet began this initiative of "Giving Back" in the Fall of 2009 by donating to WGUR 88.9 FM, Georgia College & State University’s radio station. The plan for 2010 is to donate to at least two more colleges then continue to add two colleges each year.
